About Mr. John Fitzpatrick Vannucci
John Fitzpatrick Vannucci is a San Francisco native.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English
from Santa Clara University where he was an NCAA
Boxer and studied Piano and English. He obtained
his Jurisprudence Doctorate from the University of
San Francisco. Right after law school, Mr. Vannucci
worked for the law firm Ropers, Majeski, Kohn and
Bentley defending Insurance Companies in Bad Faith
cases. He then was a Deputy District Attorney in El
Dorado County where he prosecuted thousands of
felony and misdemeanor cases. For the past nine
years, Mr. Vannucci has been representing injured
and otherwise aggrieved parties in lawsuits to recover
damages from insurance companies, corporations,
public entities and others—initially with the Law
Offices of Thomas J. Brandi and, for
the past four years, with his own law offices. Mr. Vannucci has
tried, with no second chair, over 40 cases to jury
verdict with a very high rate of success.
Mr. Vannucci is currently a panel
member of court-appointed lawyers for felonies and misdemeanors in San
Francisco County as part of
San Francisco’s Indigent Defense Administration
program. Mr. Vannucci is a past Chair of the
Litigation Section of the San Francisco Bar
Association Barristers’ Club and was an at large
board member of the Consumer Attorneys of
California. Mr. Vannucci has given MCLE-Accredited
presentations on trial tactics and litigation
strategies and coached the USF Law School team for
the San Francisco Trial Lawyers' Association Mock
Trial Competition. He is a member of various
professional organizations and is a licensed real
estate broker.
